The Montana is our evolution style mid length board with roots from the late 60s or ‘transitional period’. A design largely influenced by Wayne Lynch.
Added 'vee' through the tail helps these boards turn on a dime and really engage the rail. Tight turns in the pocket are made easy whilst also allowing the board to trim and glide with ease.
A wider tail outline combined with a generous curve allows the board to swing around and hook late through fade take offs or cutbacks, as well as giving hold for trimming forward of centre.
A great all rounder that can be surfed in a variety of waves ranging from 1-4ft
Side fins are optional for extra drive and response although a single fin with high rake and flex is recommended to unlock the boards true potential.
